Popular darkfield model projects a clear bright-line cross for easy alignment and measurement.Nikon’s 6B autocollimator checks alignment and measures very small angular deviations to measure flatness or height by simple geometry. The 6D darkfield model projects a bright crossline and is the most popular model because the bright-line cross is the easiest to see. Provides measuring accuracy down to 0.5 arc seconds.

70mm Aperture Lenses
The 6D employs a 70mm aperture lens to product clear, reflected images. It also features extremely accurate double line reticles for improved detection.

The 6D Autocollimator makes high-precision measurements simultaneously on two axes with the darkfield technique. It projects a bright crossline and Nikon’s most popular model because the bright-line cross is the easiest to see.
